Results were presented to C-level executive team For communication, used technologies such as Lora, Thread and ZigBee in both 2.4GHz and sub-1GHz bands. Developed IP-level connectivity over embedded MCU's using IP64 / IP46 and NAPT technologies. Used embedded C, C++, (on ARM Cortex and ESP32) with bus-level protocols such as I2C/SPI/UART for sensor and IP-level communication Debugged multi-node, distributed wireless systems using both IP-based and proprietary communication protocols. Built an internal tool for monitor of and debugging of multiple devices at the same time. Played a pivotal role in the successful release of the Glow C Smart Plug. Wrote firmware in C, C++, with use of Python/Java for automated testing. Firmware used FreeRTOS, ThreadX as RTOS of choice, but had exposure to bare-metal programming as well. Used WiFi, BLE, and Ethernet for connectivity and protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, and HTTPS for commands and sensor data transmission. Worked with bus-level protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, for communication with onboard sensors. Architected an innovative PPP IP link between the Awair Omni and Surface Mount, enabling full internet connectivity through the Surface Mount's Ethernet port. Implemented NAPT on the Surface Mount, resulting in an estimated up to 50% reduction in long-term development time compared to using a proprietary protocol. ### Research Intern @ University of Southampton Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Southampton, United Kingdom Designed and manufactured an experimental prototype of a soil moisture sensor aimed at reducing upfront cost to farmers by up to 70%. Built an accompanying Android app for data retrieval. Prototype was evaluated in a controlled laboratory environment to gain insights into its accuracy and potential.
