# Alex Tamayo > Award winning Principal User Experience Designer | AI & Healthcare Platforms | LLM Decision Systems | Population Health | Turning Complex Workflows into Intelligent Products Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/alextamayo I design systems that help people make better decisions in complex environments - where healthcare workflows, data platforms, and AI intersect. At Oracle Health, I regularly partner with product, engineering, and data science leadership to design AI-powered enterprise healthcare experiences that embed intelligence directly into clinical workflows. LLM-driven decision support, population health platforms, and interoperable ecosystems that help care teams identify risk, close care gaps, and act faster. I led design for one of Oracle Health’s first GenAI-powered clinical workflow features, generating AI patient summaries within care management workflows, reducing chart review time from ~30 minutes to under 10, enabling care managers to prepare faster and engage more patients. I also led UX for a first-of-its-kind AI EHR-agnostic integration platform within Oracle Health’s Healthcare Data Intelligence ecosystem, embedding population health insights, care gaps, and AI-generated patient summaries directly inside third-party EMR workflows. Previously at Verily (Google Life Sciences), I led end-to-end design across platforms supporting clinical research and participant experiences used by over 2 million participants globally on Verily’s Clinical Studies Platform. Across these roles, I translate complex systems - fragmented workflows, large data environments, and emerging AI capabilities, into coherent product experiences people can trust and act on. I bring 10+ years designing and shipping products across healthcare, travel, communication, and startups. My work helped secure $25M in funding for American Airlines innovation initiatives, supported products used by millions of users, and includes founding a successful daily fantasy sports mobile application. Today my focus is designing decision systems where humans, data, and intelligent automation workflows intersect. I’m interested in: • AI-assisted decision making • Human + AI collaboration • Healthcare interoperability • Enterprise platforms • Agent-driven product experiences I combine systems and strategy to turn ambiguity into buildable solutions.
