• Focused predominantly on building scalable software for the Facebook marketing dept
• Drastically scaled our Facebook advertising using a suite of Python and SQL tools, resulting in daily spend/revenue increasing fivefold and ultimately paved the way for a $75 million acquisition earlier this year
• Developed an asynchronous ad launching process using a combination of the Facebook Business SDK and Python’s asyncio and aiohttp libraries, allowing us to go from launching a couple dozen ads a day to thousands within minutes
• Created data ETLs for pulling performance data and generated reports to inform creative and optimization decisions, giving us the ability to identify and create 2x more variations of successful stories
• Built web-scraping tools with custom HTTP cookies using Selenium to automate Facebook UI-specific tasks not available on their API, providing a significant competitive edge by identifying and removing dozens of non-compliant ads in near real-time
• Utilized Google Docs extensively in combination with Python’s pygsheets library to create automated reports and UI interfaces that allowed easy collaboration across multiple teams
