I developed an interest in software development after teaching high school science for several years. While motivating others to explore this industry, I pursued the training necessary to change my own career. 
Currently, I am an experienced full-stack Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of Web and Cloud Application Development. This includes writing database queries for both SQL and NoSQL databases, logic for the service layer connecting to those databases, UI/UX development with React, Angular, and Bootstrap, and DevOps with Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
As a software engineer, I have also enjoyed leveraging my ease with public speaking to serve as a corporate ambassador for Catalyte, actively participating in multiple public relations and marketing events, generating clients, capital and investors.  In engagements at the National Skills Coalition, the Congressional Black Caucus, the United States Capitol and the Domestic Policy Council at the White House, I discussed the benefits of re-skilling and up-skilling the workforce.  In an interview with Axios magazine, I described my journey from schoolteacher to software developer and my plans to increase and refine my technical skills.

At Outcomes, I developed code to perform CRUD ops on MSSQL and PostgresSQL databases; 
Wrote APIs using Spring boot, Kotlin, Java to query and persist data to existing databases;

Tested functionality with both integration and unit testing;
Utilized Typescript and Vue.js to engineer Front End workflows to interact with APIs I'd written;
