# Alise Crain > Product Design Leader @ Calendly Location: Berkeley, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/alise I’m passionate about teams who have a mission tied to improving the lives of people and who invest in understanding those people as more than metrics.πŸ”₯ I'm currently focused on empowering talented designers and teams to solve problems and craft delightful experiences. I draw on a human-centered approach for designing, strengthened through my nearly 10 year background in people-focused project management, creative problem solving, and relationship building. Whether it's a freelance project or I'm working FT within an organization, I aim to deliver strategy and designs that are user-validated and measurably successful. Before UX design, I worked across industries identifying project needs for international drug development companies like Roche as well as creating collaborative partnerships with dozens of entrepreneur-focused inclusive organizations (AARP Foundation, NGLCC, National Center for Disability Entrepreneurship, NAACP). Each endeavor was developed around an empathetic understanding of the ecosystem, the users, and the internal team members to ultimately design the best solution for the problem, experience, or project at hand.
