I started the Khanvenience Store with my partner when I realized they were few/no snack options available at school, meaning if students got hungry during the school day, they wouldn't be able to purchase snacks. I turned the Khanvenice store into a school projects and worked to create business strategies, find snacks, and run our cashier program.
As Co-Founder, I have:

Talked to other student groups to get initial fundraising

Started store to provide snacks and lunch for our school.

Built business strategies and oversaw cashier operations, including hiring and training.
•
Managed budget, as well as keeping record of revenue and expenses
•
Designed multiple functional spreadsheets to handle transactions, cashier shifts, financial records and more
•
Introduced different types of snacks and incorporated student feedback.
•
Recently made $400+ in profit on one of our recent months in operation
Added new pages to website, including functionality to help donate to the team, increasing funds coming to the team

Designed website to give relevant info and market our team to other teams, as well as potential sponsors
•
Learned new web development languages, including React.js and content management systems (Contentful)
•
Worked with marketing team to upload bi-weekly blogs
•
Held workshops to take in input from other team members to understand what they want to see in the website, turning the website into a collaborative project
•
Still worked as member of design team, CAD-ing, building and designed robot subsystems, such as hanging mechanism
•
Followed traditional process of engineering principles and design process
