Workday, Inc. provides enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources worldwide. It provides applications for customers to manage critical business functions to optimize their financial and human capital resources. From Workday's inception from 2005 to present-day, it currently has more than 2,100 customers and maintains and industry-leading customer satisfaction rate of 98%.
As a Software Application Engineer Intern under Workday Financials for the summer of 2018, I successfully achieved the following tasks assigned:
•Designed and developed REST APIs, enabling Workday customers to develop and build external systems that can interact with Workday systems
•Created and revised Swagger documentation of the developed REST APIs for external developer reference
•Identified and implemented automation testing to ensure the security and stability of newly-created REST APIs
•Created a Google Assistant integration using the newly-developed Workday REST APIs through Dialogflow and a Node.js webhook server that was deployed with Heroku
•Engaged and contributed under a Scrum team through daily stand-ups, requirements gathering, etc.
