· Principal engineer of cloud storage platform for Memories (photo cloud backup system implementing microservices architecture on AWS).
· Built “Criteria Segmentation” system for Customer Engagement Platform, integrating disparate databases with Facebook's PrestoDB SQL engine to target customers classified by various attributes.  Data sources included Postgresql, MySQL, DynamoDB, and Neo4j. A web frontend (jQuery QueryBuilder) allowed ad-hoc construction of criteria.
· Experimented with convolutional neural networks to identify both aesthetic photos and photos with technical flaws; initially using idealo’s image-quality-assessment on github, based on Google NIMA.
· Redesigned and moved  "Telemetry & Analytics Platform" from Azure-based C# application to Java services deployed in AWS, and migrated data from Azure Tables to DynamoDB.
· Lead engineering teams as tech lead for journey teams and projects with major clients including Docomo, Verizon, and AT&T.
