- Developed load balancing algorithms or improved existing ones for Google Services Load Balancer (GSLB) and Google Unified Health Checker (UHC) which serves both internal and cloud customers.

Built the infrastructure for the future of transportation. Moved Uber from monolith to microservices. Scaled Uber's compute platform using Docker, Mesos, Aurora and custom job schedulers.

I worked for Facebook Infrastructure, as a part of CDN team in Traffic organization.

Here is a short list of the projects I've involved with
- I wrote multi layered SSD cache to store photos (memory->flash->disk) which speaks memcache protocol
- real-time transcoding software to do image processing on-demand (convertions,resizing,crop,filters)
- some improvements on L7 software load balancer Proxygen
- maintaining Intel IPP based image processing stack to make sure all codecs up to date and integrated well including libpng, webp, turbojpeg, mozj, 
- CDN Validator software to make sure all copies of images are all in sync within hundreds of edge locations
- worked closely with photos team to improve photo uploads pipeline and made some front-end changes
- did some work on TAO (FB's caching software to store and serve the social graph) and memcache

C++11, folly, STL, Boost, thrift and Hack (FB fork of PHP, optimized for HHVM)

### Sr.Software Engineer @ Yahoo!
Jan 2010 – Jan 2013
Worked with Yahoo! Mail's Server team to make Yahoo Mail accessible by millions of mobile clients using IMAP protocol.

Worked under Yahoo! Messenger Server Engineering group to implement Server Side Archiving subsystem to store,retrieve and manage all Instant Message traffic into Yahoo! Mail infrastructure in form of semi structured data similar to document-oriented NoSQL databases.

Linux based scalable, low-latency, high-performance C++ framework developed to handle 500k+ requests/sec at near real time speeds.
