Evolved the user experience for Salesforce’s Records and Lists pages. These foundational templates comprise about 80% of the Salesforce CRM application. Led the Density Display effort to improve efficiencies in information scanning and time-to-task, Real-time Collaboration to enhance productivity, Default Record Templates to improve Lightning adoption to reach our 6 Million Monthly Active User FY21 goal. As a platform design system ambassador, I facilitated opportunities for designers to come together, identify new patterns, strengthen their designs, ensure proper use of established design patterns, and collaborate with the platform designers on how to best use patterns for their projects. Also, led the In-app learning experience to bring Salesforce’s online learning platform into the Lightning Platform.

Together with the leadership team, developed the company’s product strategy and vision. Partnered with the CEO to design innovative offerings, such as a 3-D visualization of the supply chain network to our top tier clients. Implemented Design Thinking culture into ICIX, which resulted in more efficient problem-solving sessions with customers and an overall better product.

Built a design system for ICIX’s supply chain network on the Salesforce ecosystem. Established personas and mental models to help define the product. Managed off-shore and local user experience and development teams to build four unique apps (BRM, PRM, Product Test, Form Builder), extend and adapt the Salesforce Lightning Design System to seamlessly integrate custom app functionality with standard Salesforce functionality.

Elevated the overall user experience of Apttus’s core product offerings, developing an Enterprise UI framework that would allow teams to quickly build applications on the Salesforce platform. Established on-shore and offshore UX teams, increased UX throughput by 700%. Enhanced existing product offerings and Sales demos. Established a new UI language and vision of Apttus’s core product offerings. Developed and established user personas to help drive product requirements and a user-centered design approach.

Developed Walmart.com’s new Experience Management System and next generation global presentation platform, which would allow international affiliates to quickly stand up sites with minimal effort, and present a unified user experience across various Walmart sites. Additionally responsible for defining an efficient multichannel experience on Walmart.com for in-store customers.

Directed a high-performing, cross-functional user experience team for the Walmart China project (Walmart’s primary initiative for 2011). Along with a China-based team, built a UX platform from the ground up, led extensive in-country monthly workshops and testing to better understand the local competitive landscape, customers, and cultural differences in relation to the US market. Implemented Agile Methodology for the project. Walmart’s China eCommerce web site was built in 5 months. Led the Continuous Site Optimization team, focused on improving Walmart.com’s site conversion, site speed, and customer experience through user testing and site enhancements.

Developed and managed associates, receiving one of the highest rated Associate Opinion Survey and CQ feedback. Tasked to manage a more senior level team, assisted in defining UX lead role and rapid discovery process. Identified UX and Customer Insight strengths in research engagement, piloted an off-shore resourcing model, strengthened engineering and UX development partnership. Standardized site componentization, partnered with business to plan strategy development and execution of projects, participated in UX leadership team, and the creation of UX Labs. Facilitated Customer Service site enhancements resulting in $400,000 annual customer service savings. Successfully identified cart abandonment levers, which helped in the formulation of a more optimized checkout system.

Led UI Design team, guided project design direction, contributed to successful launching of site roadmap initiatives, cross-collaboration with site merchandising to optimize catalog experience, drove navigation standardization, and improved key marketing component CTR by 150%.

Responsible for improving and redesigning the User Interface for the service channel for walmart.com, transitioned to the site team to be a key contributor on the site redesign. Post launch, key contributor for optimizing site performance by 200% prior to holiday.

Responsible for the redesign of the franklintempleton.com web site in 2003, consisted of establishing a new brand image for Franklin Templeton on the web, designing template pages for Interwoven CMS, fund information and account pages driven by middleware application. Additional responsibilities included the redesign of internal web applications, globalization of the Franklin Templeton's 36 International and Institutional web sites, creation of design processes, online global style guide, designing of online marketing campaigns, and the management of a team of local & international designers.

As Vice President, established the company‘s innovative design presence, web expertise, and multimedia capabilities for Hawaii‘s business market. Maintained multiple roles in day-to-day operations of the company‘s supporting infrastructure.

As Creative Officer, met with existing and prospective clients to establish project objectives, art directed and managed teams of designers and programmers in extensive web and print project operations.

As Senior Web Designer, developed project site specifications, defined content flow, established creative direction, assessed designated site functionality, created brand image and marketing direction for web and print media, set design concept, and implemented web technology cohesion and design. Other duties included developing parameters for coding to push web design limitations, establishing web cross-platform standards for projects, performed usability testing to explore and refine user interface effectiveness, coded customized web pages using innovative HTML and JavaScripting techniques in BBedit.
