(Installed on +220k unique shops) Launched faceted filtering for merchants on Shopify. Utilized by +603k merchants and led to +$136 million in gross merchandise volume (GMV) ### Senior Product Designer @ MLSE (Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership) Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | Toronto, Ontario, Canada Overseeing and leading design for products under the team operations department at MLSE. Improved design team processes and costs by leading initiatives on implementing a design system and tracking UX metrics across all MLSE products. Responsible for providing UX metrics updates to MLSE digital labs department and leadership. Led the team for outlining user research methods across all products. Assisted the product team in transitioning to Figma. ### Product Designer @ MLSE (Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership) Jan 2017 – Jan 2020 | Toronto, Ontario, Canada Using design thinking methodology and human-centred design I designed and launched numerous features and products including: a state-of-the-art puck and player tracking mobile application for the Toronto Maple Leafs, membership portal for season ticket holders, coaching application for the Toronto Raptors, native app restaurant reservation portal, website for MLSE Foundation, and marketplace site for personal seat licenses at Scotiabank Arena (projected to facilitate over $4 million in transactions/year. Led a redesign for the Toronto Maple Leafs mobile app resulting in higher user satisfaction and retention. Due to the success of the redesign, this design was implemented across all team apps. Represented the design team at the Apple WWDC conference in San Jose. Founding member of the MLSE Digital Labs Hackathon. Enabled cross-department collaboration through implementation of product documentation. Featured on the Apple app store for "App of the Day". ### UX and Technical Product Manager @ MLSE (Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership) Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | Toronto, Ontario, Canada Managed and launched the flagship mobile apps for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC, and Toronto Argonauts. Leveraged an agile approach to design and launch numerous features including: interactive indoor maps with real-time location, stadium in-seat ordering, Waze integration, AR games, mobile contest engines, custom navigation/UX, mobile tickets, app-messaging centre, and sign-up flow. Launched Apple Watch apps for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, and Toronto FC. Launched an Alexa skill for the Toronto Maple Leafs. One of the first major sports organization to design and release an Alexa skill for Canada in 2017. ### Product Design Engineer @ CBC/Radio-Canada Jan 2016 – Jan 2016 | Toronto, Canada Area Spearheaded concept generation of new prototype application for CBC. This involved: -Conducting competitive audits for news applications -Developing personas -Creating wireframes using Balsamiq -Prototyping with Sketch and Invision -Conducting User Testing -Developed an iOS application in Objective-C In addition to the prototype project I also developed features for the CBC Sports application: 1. 3D touch home screen shortcuts. These shortcuts linked to the main tabs in the sports application. Data tracking was implemented for each of the shortcuts in order to gain insight on usage.(Released to market) 2. 3D touch peek & pop for stories in the lineup. 3D pressing on any of the stories will bring up a summary of the article. 3. A today widget which shows the top two stories for Sports. Clicking either of these stories will open the app to the respective story. (Released to market) ### Quality Assurance Engineer @ Pebble Tech Jan 2015 – Jan 2015 | San Francisco Bay Area Worked on the team for the Pebble Health application. This application included features such as: -Step Tracking -Sleep Analysis -Weekly graphs -Daily summaries of Activity and Sleep I also developed two watchfaces which are live on the Pebble App Store. I worked with C, Javascript, and JSON to develop these watchfaces. The two watchfaces can be found below.
