# Alyssa Meczkowska > Machine Learning Researcher | AI & Security | SWE @ Bukhari Lab | GDG Lead Organizer | CS @ St. John’s University Location: New York City Metropolitan Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/alyssameczkowska I’m a fourth-year Computer Science student at St. John’s University with a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience in research, machine learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. My research outside of work spans cheminformatics and biomedical informatics, where I apply clustering analysis, large language models, and topic modeling to extract insights from molecular and medical text data. I also am working on researching the applications of quantum computing for vehicular clouds. I’m especially interested in the intersection of computer science, quantum physics, and biomedical research. I enjoy combining technical depth with scientific curiosity to contribute to projects that advance health and science through AI-driven methods. Beyond research, I am the Social Media Coordinator for the St. John's ACM student chapter, helping foster community and engagement in the broader CS space. I also serve on our Student Technology Governance Group, where I collaborate with IT and administration to make improvements that benefit the student body. With a background that blends coding, research, and communication, I’m always looking for opportunities to grow as a developer, researcher, and creative problem-solver. ## Work Experience ### Lead Organizer @ Google Developers Group Jan 2025 – Present Founded a Google Developer Group at St. John's University.
