This was a UX research-focused project. -We focused on implementing the human-centered design process and performing thorough research to provide Notability accurate research backed up by data and insights that aims to help them improve their subscription model. - As a final deliverable, we created user personas, journey maps, feature suggestions, and an affinity map of all our insights (from secondary research, user interviews, usability tests, and card-sorting). We provided a great amount of research and insights for the Notability design team to refer to. ### Co-Vice President @ Middle Eastern Business Association Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Berkeley, California, United States Being one of the first members of MEBA, I had a lot of experience and understanding of the logistics for the club. I partnered with the founder of the club to be Co-VPs together as the club gained members and grew rapidly. We worked together to oversee all the committees and ensure things were running smoothly. -Managed and designed the MEBA website for companies and students to have easy access to. -Created the private feedback form and helped members incase of any issues or internal problems. -Organized and continued any unfinished work from busy committees (Nemr comedy show, socials, tabling, printing flyers, releasing information to the public). Our main goal was to really spearhead this club even further into the public eye of UC Berkeley and make sure the club we started had an everlasting effect and kept running after we graduated. We have succeeded, as MEBA is flourishing with motivated individuals and formed a wonderful community for Middle Easterners at UC Berkeley. ### VP Marketing & Marketing Advisor @ Middle Eastern Business Association Jan 2020 – Jan 2022 | Berkeley, California, United States As VP of Marketing, I managed the social media platforms and social media presence linked to the Middle Eastern Business Association. I led 4 others on the marketing team and guided them on how to market MEBA. I held this position for 1.5 years and was the first Marketing individual on board (and one of the first members of the whole club). - My team and I created color schemes for socials, infographics, event flyers, planned social events, and focused on promoting MEBA as an inclusive and resourceful association for students at UC Berkeley. As Marketing Advisor, I oversaw the VP of Marketing and provided advice and guidance on how to correctly lead the marketing team. I held this position for 6 months. -I emphasized MEBA's mission statement and reminded the VP to ensure that MEBA is marketed in a professional, yet inclusive and fun association. -I relayed critiques and suggestions from others on the MEBA board. ### Product Design Consultant @ Berkeley Innovation Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Berkeley, California, United States As a design consultant for Berkeley Innovation at UC Berkeley, I was placed on a team of 3 others each semester and matched with a real-life client to solve their design problem at hand. - I prioritized the human-centered design process when designing for our clients by: thoroughly researching/exploring the problem scope, conducting interviews, sending surveys, concept testing, and ultimately prototyping solutions for our clients. -My clients consisted of Notability and Adobe. ### Teaching Assistant for Human Centered Design Decal @ Berkeley Innovation Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 | Berkeley, California, United States -Mentored UC Berkeley students looking to learn more and strengthen their human centered design knowledge through a student-led class by Berkeley Innovation (the only human centered design consulting club at UC Berkeley!). - Provided feedback and guidance on their design projects and how they can improve- areas of strengths, weaknesses, etc. ### UX Designer @ Connect@Cal Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Berkeley, California, United States Connect @ Cal connects UC Berkeley students with resources depending on their specific needs. -I worked with the tech team to create a smoother experience for UC Berkeley students to submit a case by creating wireframes for how the filtering process for their needs should look like. - I created wireframes of mobile mockups for their soon-to-be updated website. This consisted of reformatting elements and providing suggestions for the UI of the site (colors, graphics). -I improved my collaboration with engineers as we worked out how to meet in the middle with the design teams suggestions and the engineers capabilities for the Connect @ Cal site. It was a very rewarding experience! ### Product Design Consultant @ Adobe Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Berkeley, California, United States Through Berkeley Innovation, I worked in a team of 3 to design solutions for Adobe's problem statement. -As a final deliverable, we created 2 hi-fi/1 mid-fi prototypes that aim to teach storytelling to Gen-Z content creators through Adobe products. -We executed secondary research, conducted interviews, and explored the current state of learning storytelling (competitive analyses, talking to expert storytellers, analyzing stories in today's content). -We ideated various solutions from physical, to digital, to spatial, and concept tested our ideas to find which concepts best aimed to solve Adobe's problem. ### Vice President @ Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | San Ramon, California, United States Vice President of the Diablo Valley Community College PTK branch. Managed monthly meetings of over 50 students.
