I also co-founded and worked as the front-end developer for the D.C. based startup, Flashband. ## Work Experience ### Senior Software Engineer @ TixTrack Jan 2024 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area ### Senior Software Engineer @ Nielsen Jan 2020 – Jan 2024 | Emeryville, CA Led multiple high-impact projects, including the internal Global Mapping interface - a tool used to match internal database information to the metadata of high-level clients (e.g., Disney, HBO, Fox...). We successfully launched this application and trained over 450 mapping associates from a system built on Java Swing and Relay systems to a React front-end connected to a Cassandra and Elastic Search backend. Successfully translated technical specifications into user-friendly features, improving user experience and satisfaction. Notable projects include the development of intuitive dashboards and user interfaces for large-scale data visualization tools. Designed and developed a comprehensive data model for a new metadata inquiries, aligning with project requirements and scalability goals. ### Senior Software Engineer @ SiriusXM Jan 2018 – Jan 2020 | San Francisco Bay Area Lead architectural redesign of Automatic Labs website using React and NodeJS. Managed a small contracting team based out of Poland to tackle and resolve existing bugs and develop new features in a variety of applications built in AngularJS and React. In this position I both developed and maintained communications between our scrum team and company stakeholders. With my technical knowledge I could quickly understand potential blockers and time-constraints and address them before they created problems for our deliverable deadlines. ### Software Engineer @ Gracenote Jan 2015 – Jan 2016 I was brought onto the Gracenote development team to rebuild the Gracenote Showcase application from scratch. The Showcase demonstrates Gracenote’s expansive movie, TV, and music databases and is an important part of the company’s annual presentation at CES. I was given complete control over the project and eventually worked as a tech lead when we brought on additional developers in the weeks leading up to CES 2016. Currently I maintain the site and work with a team of designers and developers to brainstorm new and useful functionality. Accomplishments and responsibilities: • Built the Gracenote Showcase OnConnect Application from scratch on a Nodejs platform, using the React Javascript framework. • Created the Video On Demand Gracenote Application using the Nodejs platform, React framework, and the Parse SDK. • Continually updated both the VOD Guide and the Showcase App with new functionality and deeper interactions with the Gracenote OnConnect and Baseline APIs. • Participated in the Agile process to manage task flow and stage/production releases of the products. ### Cofounder, Product Manager, and Front-end Design/Development Lead @ Flashband Jan 2012 – Jan 2015 | Washington D.C.
