At PatchRx, I was the primary contributor to the web application (React/TypeScript with Apollo GraphQL) used by the clinical nursing staff, with an emphasis on speed, security, and accessibility.

• Developed new features with a quick turn-around time to meet client requests and changes in product requirements
• Worked closely with product and design to ensure new functionalities were intuitive and clear to use for a fully non-technical userbase
• Led efforts to implement Cypress and Jest testing to reduce code errors

I predominantly worked on Epic's Tapestry team to develop a variety of claims and managed care solutions.

• Led development to create a REST API library to communicate sensitive patient data with third-party applications in compliance with new government regulations
• Coordinated the development and design of a new UI across several applications which received positive customer feedback for its increased readability
• Worked as a full-stack developer to fix bugs and develop new features
• Acted as a mentor for two new hires, including direct technical assistance for bug-fixing

I worked as a summer intern on Cardinal's Edgepark System Transformation (EPST) team in Twinsburg, Ohio. This team focused on updating and improving Edgepark, an online medical storefront.

• Developed a Java Spring proof of concept demonstrating how to increase loading efficiency/user experience for the webpage
• Helped configure the company’s build pipeline into a DevOps Hygieia dashboard to visualize project status
• Performed PM tasks for the intern Professional Development Committee and led meetings, event planning, and communications to the intern class

I work with the Houston Asian-American Archive (HAAA) project, a long-term historical research project that focuses on the presence and impact of Houston Asian-Americans across the past century in the Houston area. 

• Used data to extrapolate historical trends in community growth and expansion through qualitative oral and written sources
• Researched, edited, and reviewed interview and geographic data on a Story Map about Vietnamese refugees
• Led a project to gather data points for a geographic map by parsing through a large amount of data
• Interviewed prominent members of the Houston Asian-American community about historical and modern events
