○ Engaged in a month‑long enriching experience, communicated with several technicians, ran tests, and
became familiar with special tools such as:
○ Fuel pump special tool: aided in the removal and installation of the fuel pump.
○ Magnetic dial indicator holder: measured irregularities in the disk brake.
○ TPM (Tire pressure monitor): examined tire pressure sensor.
○ Steering wheel holder: assisted during wheel alignment.
○ With the help of these tools, the team completed numerous tests in the workshop, including:
○ Using the Star device (Xentry Diagnosis), Smoke test, Compression test (engine and cooling system),
Vacuum test, Wheel balance test, Wheel alignment, and finally, using WIS as a guiding system.

○ Focused on the more corporate angle of engineering, and was concerned with the productivity and
efficiency rates of the establishment.
○ Studied and compiled a gap analysis for the newly installed production line at the new facility producing
large HDPE pipes for drainage and sewerage applications.
○ Provided, presented, and wrote detailed proposals for the optimization of different sectors of the
company, most notably in areas such as the production process, supply chain and material
management.

○ As a biomedical engineer, the focus was on diving into the medical sector of mechanical engineering
and working with tools from several companies, emphasizing the safety, maintenance, and correct usage
of each one.
○ Incorporated the Artificial Respiratory System from NEWPORT in tasks, to gain familiarity with it's inner
workings, along with learning to troubleshoot, inspect, and calibrate the machine routinely.
○ Set up and installed the Cosmic Device from INTEGRA, to assess the device's functioning, along with
developing provisional solutions to improve integration into the hospital's atmosphere.
○ Managed the manufacturing and construction of the Kidney Dialysis Device from NIPRO, focusing
specifically on how the different segments were essential to the final product.
