Major Projects a) AWS Migration : Setting the standards for creating/migrating services of LendingClub to Amazon Cloud. i) Document Service was first service to be in AWS using S3 and Aurora Database. ii) Setup standards and created infrastructure components for quick transition of other services to AWS. iii) Worked closely with DevOps to ensure monitoring and health check of services in AWS, and integration with Graphite/Grafana, Splunk and New Relic. iv) Enabled Mutual TLS for service to service communication in AWS. Created standard server side, client side component for services including setup and code to enable TLSV1.2 on these services. b) Security : Was tasked with prototyping and coming up with standard components and strategies for moving services to Mutual TLS. Worked closely with Security team and dev ops to prototype, architect a solution which is generic and scalable for LendingClub. c) Document Service : Created and owns the service which is used for generating,uploading and getting of documents in LendingClub. i) Service started with Oracle and MongoDB and then migrated to use Aurora DB and S3. The service is now on AWS. ii) Ensure service is reliable, scalable and resilient, with monitoring in splunk, newrelic and graphite. iii) Service use strong AES256 security to encrypt the documents. Also it uses TLSV1.2 and request and validate calling service client certificates(Mutual TLS) d) DR and Replication strategy for AWS services including Document Service. Involves coming up with S3 replication across region. e) Part of team working on new Encryption library for LendingClub. Ensuring high availability, resiliency and performance to ensure that all services within LendingClub can use the new encryption. ### Principal Engineer @ CipherCloud Jan 2014 – Jan 2015 Working on search using Elasticsearch/Lucene. Project involves figuring out how different cloud ERP search works, streaming encrypted data, mapping it in different ways and creating relevant and efficient queries.
