As a Lead UX Designer at The Iconic, I was responsible for designing seamless and engaging experiences for the mobile app team across both Android and iOS platforms. Leveraging my deep expertise in native design systems, including Material Design and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, I ensured a consistent and intuitive user experience. Additionally, I integrated the in-house design system into all app designs, balancing brand identity with platform-specific best practices.
One of my key projects was designing an augmented reality (AR) experience for virtual makeup testing, enabling users to try different products using their mobile phones. This innovation enhanced customer confidence and engagement, bridging the gap between online shopping and in-store experiences.
I also played a critical role in implementing Stripe as a payment solution, redesigning the checkout and cart experience to improve conversion rates and streamline the purchasing journey.
Beyond product design, I conducted an end-to-end heuristic evaluation, systematically mapping usability findings against Baymard Institute’s research to drive data-backed improvements. By translating these insights into a compelling narrative for stakeholders, I helped shape strategic decisions that enhanced the overall shopping experience. Through a combination of user research, design expertise, and cross-functional collaboration, I contributed to delivering a frictionless and user-centric eCommerce experience.
