• Lead the design & development of several services and components in the next generation PROS Data Platform (which consists of services such as Data Ingress, Data Catalog, Compute, Data Flow/Pipeline, etc.)
• Built a custom Spark connector in Scala, which abstracts details such as underlying storage technology, data format, etc. and allows Data Scientists & Engineers to explore, transform and process big data easily
• Built Java libraries to allow easy consumption of Data Platform services by multiple application teams at PROS
• Built abstraction layers/APIs over several Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, etc to allow application teams at PROS to use these services in an easy, consistent and secure manner
• Automated the deployment, setup, & maintenance of several Azure services used by Data Platform
• Joined PROS through its acquisition of SignalDemand. As a senior member of the engineering team at SignalDemand, I was solely responsible for the architecture, design, development and maintenance of a highly scalable distributed computing platform that performs scientific calculations on terabytes of data in a short period of time. Often, I worked on rapid prototypes that help the company make strategic decisions
