### Data Engineer Intern @ Agoda

Refactored parts of company’s data pipeline for internal data catalog, making the codebase more maintainable and easier to develop on. Used Scala, SQL, and Extract-Transform Load (ETL) workflow. Worked with Hadoop, Hive, Apache Spark & Kafka, and the Elastic Stack (ELK).

Implemented a front-end feature for internal data catalog that allows users to see the data quality information of each table. Worked with React.js and TypeScript.

### Summer Research Intern @ Caltech
Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Pasadena, California, United States
Altered Young’s modulus of 3D printed nanopolymers by changing the composition of monomer resin.
Conducted nanocompression and nanoindentation tests on 3D printed polymer pillars and plates.
Found that adding 1,4-butanediol diacrylate and tricyclodecane dimethanol diacrylate to a pentaerithritol tetraacrylate resin led to a lower Young’s modulus in the polymer.
