1. Built an automated MySQL partition lifecycle system for a 1.2B-row table (weekly RANGE) that archives cold data to S3-compatible storage in Parquet, enforces 18-week retention, plus a 6-week forward buffer for capacity planning, and adds health checks and alerts for safe, restartable operations. 
2. Built and deployed a FastAPI job queue processing 10K+ jobs/day in MySQL with a systemd-worker pool; implemented database-level locking enabling concurrent, restart-safe processing with zero data loss and health monitoring and alerts.
3. Designed and deployed a multiprocessing, shard-based shipment optimization pipeline that parallelizes external API ingestion, uses cache-first persistence with restart-safe runs and metrics/alerts, and cut average shipment costs by ~50%.
4. Built an async, chunked MySQL-to-Polars pipeline processing 50M+ rows with SQLAlchemy async and Feather caching, reducing report generation time by 70% while maintaining rate-limited API ingestion.
