# Anastasia Laczko > Data visualisation at Databricks Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/anastasialaczko Hello! I'm a fullstack engineer with an interest in social robotics, data visualizations, design systems, and game dev. I work on the Databricks Visualizations team building charts and visual analytics features for the Databricks platform. Previously, I was on the Databricks Lakeflow team for a few years where I designed UI features for data pipeline management and observability. I've also worked part-time on the design system team creating new shared components. Some of my favourite experiences over the past few years have included: - Releasing a cozy, mobile puzzle game called Sandwich Swipe on the app stores which has 15k downloads. - Programming path-finding robots as an intern at Infosys in Bangalore, India. - Studying robotics and computer science for a semester exchange in Daejeon, South Korea. In my spare time you can find me playing board games and badminton, spontaneously undertaking design and craft projects, and hanging out with my two cats. ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ Databricks Jan 2021 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area Working as a fullstack developer with a focus on data visualisation and observability. • Currently on the Visualisation team working on the core data visualisation widget library for AI/BI dashboards. • Previously on the Data Pipelines team (and briefly, the Ingestion team) for 3.5 years where I shipped several major customer-facing features that help users manage and observe their pipelines. • I've also worked part-time on the Databricks design system team helping to build new components, and led the development of a shared visualisation component that allows other Databricks developers to use my team's core visualization library in their UIs.
