Product-minded software engineer with 5+ years of experience building and scaling user-facing mobile products at Meta (Instagram/Messenger), with a strong background in Android and Kotlin.
Worked across Messenger and Instagram on large-scale communication features, operating as both an individual contributor and project lead on high-impact initiatives. As one of the first three Android engineers on Communities for Messenger, I helped shape early product direction while building core functionality from the ground up. Led end-to-end delivery of initiatives such as Add Yours for Instagram Direct and multiple information architecture redesigns, taking ownership of problem definition, data analysis, technical design, execution, and iteration. Coordinated timelines across engineering, product, and design, adapted plans based on new data and constraints, and guided other engineers to deliver scalable solutions supporting community growth, management, and moderation.
In my college years, I went under the wing of my CS professors, grading programming assignments, holding office hours for one-on-one student assistance, and often leading lectures and make-or-break exam reviews. Together we reviewed for exams and overcame challenging assignments, and I went on to become a mentor for some students.
Worked in Android development as part of Facebook's Growth organization, focusing on User Acquisition and improving Facebook's core app registration funnel and authenticating new users.
Worked in an Android team creating an app as part of an eight-week program in which we were trained in mobile development and gained in-depth industry experience.
The Girls Who Code Program represents an innovative approach to computer science education, pairing seven weeks of intensive instruction in robotics, web design, and mobile development with engaging, career-focused mentorship and exposure led by the industry's top female entrepreneurs and engineers.
