Part of Oracle Data Provider Team for .NET Framework/Core (C#/C)

I developed and maintained mid-tier C# libraries for .NET developers working with Oracle databases.

SS&C Advent builds portfolio management and accounting software.

In this role I contributed to development of a Spring Boot plugin and served as a member of the company's “New-Gen” team responsible for migrating legacy code to more modern solutions.

My work included converting legacy SQL CLR methods into calling gRPC APIs instead of REST APIs, and I also built a custom sampler for the Apache JMeter load testing tool.

Convergent manufactures medical lasers and laser fibers.

During my time there I developed a C# application that reads a laser’s temperature, settings, and energy levels for QA and laser calibration and converts ambiguous data to common measures (Celsius, Watts, et al), replacing and streamlining a complex manual process.

I also did QA work on laster and debugged an Arduino application that consumes data from embedded memory in a laser fiber and displays the fiber information on an LED screen.
