During my years working for Acubed, I often worked on multiple projects as the sole frontend engineer. I was involved in major application decisions such as backend data model design, architecture design of the app, the overall design and flow of the application or components. I worked closely with stakeholders to build applications that were perfectly suited for their needs. Being on a small team also required me to reach beyond the front end and web based applications when the need arose. I have built and packaged actual desktop applications using Electron. I have added APIs and bug fixes in our backend when our backend developers contract had ended. I completely self learned how to use Bluetooth Low Energy to send data from hardware to the front end and then to our database when the need for it became mandatory in our projects. Overall, I am a driven software engineer with a desire to find the right tools for the application. I am able fully leave my comfort zone to get the job done and embraced the growth. I truly enjoy learning and using new technologies and the challenge that comes with that.
