# Andrew Daly > Senior Product Designer | AI-Assisted & Complex Systems | Human-AI Collaboration, Enterprise SaaS Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/andrewdaly I’m a Senior Product Designer with 10+ years of experience designing intuitive solutions for complex, real-time, and enterprise systems. My work focuses on helping teams reason, decide, and act in complex environments—bridging human judgment with AI assistance to reduce risk, improve clarity, and enable scale. I’ve designed production systems used in safety-critical operations, government platforms, and internal enterprise tools, where correctness and accountability matter more than polish alone. Most recently, I launched Kiteframe, an AI-assisted product workflow platform that helps designers, PMs, and engineers work in a shared system and generate PRDs in seconds—reducing context switching and preserving intent across handoffs. Previously, I led design for real-time fleet operations at Zoox and digital policy enforcement platforms used by agencies including LADOT and Miami-Dade. I’m particularly interested in roles where design operates at the system level—shaping workflows, decision infrastructure, and human–AI collaboration in complex products. ## Work Experience ### Founder @ Kitespace, LLC Jan 2025 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area Designed and launched Kiteframe, an AI-assisted product workflow platform that helps designers, PMs, and engineers work in a shared system instead of bouncing between tools. Kiteframe turns workflows and decisions into structured PRDs in seconds, reducing context switching and preserving product intent across handoffs. The product explores human–AI collaboration patterns grounded in real-world product constraints and is currently in private beta. ### Senior Product Designer @ Zoox Jan 2023 – Jan 2025 | San Francisco Bay Area Led design of production-critical systems supporting real-time autonomous vehicle operations, incident response, and safety decision-making. Drove system-level design initiatives that reduced operational latency, improved human-AI collaboration, and enabled fleet scaling across new service areas. Designed interfaces used by operators under time pressure, where correctness, clarity, and accountability were mission and compliance critical. ### Lead Product Designer @ Lacuna Technologies Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 • Led the design process from inception to launch for an enterprise policy-as-code platform tailored for transportation agencies. • Enabled immediate digital policy activation, enhancing compliance and increasing city revenue capture. • Reduced reliance on reactive reporting by implementing proactive, system-driven enforcement. • Successfully deployed solutions with agencies such as LADOT and Miami-Dade. ### Lead Product Designer @ Filld Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco Bay Area Product designer focused on tools for on-demand fuel delivery. I worked on driver and operations workflows that turned messy real-world constraints into clear, actionable interfaces. My work spanned route and stop management, exception handling, and operational visibility, partnering closely with ops, support, and engineering to refine edge cases and improve reliability of day-to-day delivery. ### Lead Business UI Designer @ Tarana Wireless, Inc. Jan 2016 – Jan 2018 | Santa Clara, California Led design of a GIS based planning tool used by enterprise ISPs to estimate wireless deployment feasibility and throughput before sending survey teams on site. Translated complex RF and geospatial data into clear visualizations and workflows that non technical planners could use confidently. Enabled pre survey planning that reduced field visits, saving planning time and operational cost for large scale wireless deployments. Collaborated with RF engineers, product, and sales teams to align the tool with real deployment constraints and customer workflows. ### UI Designer @ Electriq Power Jan 2016 – Jan 2016 | Hayward, CA Contracted by ElectrIQ to design the user dashboard for their IoT home power system. ### Lead Designer @ Filld Jan 2016 – Jan 2016 | Mountain View, CA Contracted by Filld, Inc. to play the role of lead designer during the website and mobile app re-designs. Additional duties: print and web marketing collateral, HTML e-mail campaigns, photography for promotional materials and web imagery. ### UI/UX Prototype Developer @ TiVo Jan 2014 – Jan 2016 Responsible for building all functional, DVR-specific HTML5 prototypes (using primarily HTML5's Canvas API) to be used for user research testing and as proof of concepts from a visual design and user experience perspective. Additionally, the prototypes are used to demo upcoming features & designs to partners, prospects, & executives. Highly specific prototype requirements (i.e., animations, transitions, text treatments, image effects like blurring, video controls, etc.) and tight delivery schedules necessitated the development of a custom code base for easy replication & scaling. ### Triage Engineer @ TiVo Jan 2011 – Jan 2014 - Responsible for conducting the initial diagnostic analysis of issue reports filed by Alpha and Beta test groups to assist engineering in the identification and resolution of bugs, both hardware and software. - Act as the communication link between engineering and test populations should additional questions or diagnostic information need to be gathered - Assist customers in resolving any issues that are not software or hardware defects (e.g., home networking problems, setup/configuration issues, etc.) - Work with partners, domestic and international, to conduct Alpha/Beta testing within their own environment - Review open bugs with product & project management to help gauge severity for the purpose of prioritization ## Education ### Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics Westmont ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/rooney-daly - Portfolio: https://adalydesign.com/ - Portfolio: https://kiteframe.space - Portfolio: https://adalydesign.com/resume.pdf --- Source: https://flows.cv/andrewdaly JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/andrewdaly/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-13
