● Designed and developed data visualization and web services in support of basic and translational research projects.

● Worked closely with researchers to obtain user requirements, collaborate on software architecture, and obtain feedback on user experience.

● Stayed up-to-date on new software technologies and applied them to real-life biological and clinical problems

● Led development of an automated testing framework for both the browser and Electron versions

of flagship web application. This framework is built on top of the open source CodeceptJS

library, and also integrates with Sauce Labs for reports and session playback.

● Developed an entire suite of over 1000 unit tests, with code coverage, for the frontend of the new

web application. These tests leveraged the Jest and Enzyme libraries to create snapshots of UI

components and application state changes to easily track regressions.

● Developed full-stack data aggregation components and visualizations, hooking into existing

microservices in the Cogito platform.

● Hosted several musically-inspired demonstrations of software worked on, communicating

technical challenges and solutions in an understandable and enjoyable way to a broader audience.

● Worked on front-end widget and back-end components for a highly visual, data-driven product suite using contemporary development stack methodologies targeting desktops and tablets.

● Practiced Agile methodologies to ensure work was correctly scoped and planned out.

● Fully integrated a full stack implementation of a daily digest e-mail for users utilizing C#, SQL, JavaScript and Knockout for the core back and front end components.

● Debugged graphical drivers to achieve optimal performance on the latest hardware.

● Integrated myself with a large existing C++ code base and refactored existing code as needed.
