I am a multi-faceted mechanical engineer and hardware product developer, with a deep understanding of the complex set of ingredients required to bring a product to market. I have exposure and experience in both design and manufacturing roles, as well as product management.
My work is a unique blend between PD engineering and HW product management. I have launched two Electrics products now with Fellow - the Aiden Precision Coffee Maker (September 2024) and Opus Coffee Grinder (February 2023). I continue to support both programs as an eng/sustaining point person, and am currently PD lead on my next Electrics NPI adventure.
My general work responsibilities include market + user research, concept generation, mechanical design, prototyping and HW validation, part modeling and drawing creation, overseeing and often coordinating the workstreams for multiple PD, EE, and FW engineers. I also interface frequently with our eng/ops teams in China as well as the NPI units of the CM responsible for the manufacturing of our products. I have traveled regularly to Asia to visit these teams and help orchestrate the product development process.

I am the product lead on development of Opus, a complex electromechanical coffee grinder, and have been responsible for bringing it from concept all the way to its recent mass market launch in February 2023. I am also a primary PD engineer on another product in development, the Aiden Precision Coffee maker, launching September 2024.
