• Personally responsible for indexing and search functionality, LDAP client and server functionality, authentication, and notification processing.

• Co-wrote a generic indexing service with the ability to plug in different search backends, using XML and Java reflection.

• Integrated and evaluated Verity, Convera, Autonomy, and FAST search engines.

• Rearchitected and rewrote LDAP functionality to vastly increase speed, security, reusability, functionality, memory consumption, and allow integration with Active Directory.
