At Peak, design isn’t a handoff, it’s a full-journey commitment. All designers stay committed to their project from early user research, concept development, and through manufacturing. I was responsible for taking projects from concept through development, ensuring they met established deadlines. During this advanced visual communications course I cover design visualization techniques such as story boarding, dynamic renderings, and explanatory views. Worked closely with our design director road mapping and leading research on the shoulder pad market within all levels of football. Conducted focus group presentations to individual interviews across all major football market areas nationally. Self led research synthesis, and concept creation in all phases. Creating mock ups in both soft-good and hard-good categories for proof of concept to field testing. Handing off one of the most pivotal and disruptive shoulder pad concepts within the football market to date. ### Industrial Designer I @ Xenith Jan 2018 – Jan 2021 | Detroit, Michigan, United States Responsible for the design of Xenith LOOP, 5-star Virginia Tech rated non-tackle headgear. The companies first step into a new product category. The first headgear to feature a unique design silhouette driven from athlete insight, and extensive research into non-tackle football. Responsible for the design of Xenith PEAK apparel collection, another step into a new product category for the company. Leading the process on all products from research, concept creation, refinement, to development hand-off.
