My broad expertise helps me work closely with design and technical team members to create a superior product. ## Work Experience ### Senior Product Designer @ Facebook Jan 2013 – Present | Menlo Park, CA At Facebook I have designed experiences for a broad range of consumer and business products, for Pages, Advertising, Search, Video Publisher Tools and Community Integrity. I joined Facebook as the only freelancer who was hired as part of the Hot Studio acquisition, where I was already working to redesign Facebook's Page Insights product. With the Search team, I earned US patent 9,507,876 for designing an efficient and flexible filtering system. You can still see these filters in the Facebook app today. With the Video Publisher Tools team, I designed and launched new products, including rights manager, scheduled live videos and crossposted videos. Today, with the Community Integrity team, I design mobile and desktop features to help people report bad experiences on Facebook and keep the Facebook community safe. I design the review tools that content moderators use to review these reports, and the systems that Facebook uses to monitor and improve how those reports are handled. ### User Experience and Service Design Consultant @ Self-Employed Jan 2009 – Jan 2013 | San Francisco, CA Independent interaction design, requirements analysis and team leadership for design agencies in web and mobile technology spheres.
