Built out the data warehouse and ETL processes using Scala and Snowflake. Scaled out warehouse ingestion with Kafka, improved operational visibility, decreased ingestion latency as a result, and onboarded new data sources with Debezium. Led the development of a data exploration cloud tool for pharmaceutical customers using Scala, Looker, React, and Auth0.

Early engineer responsible for a lot of backend functionality for Helix.com across the whole platform. Architected and implemented core services including partner APIs, saliva kit fulfillment, laboratory test patient form persistence/validation, and Illumina Basespace event ingestion to name a few. Using golang microservices in conjunction with AWS "serverless" components.
