As a robotics software engineer, I was responsible for developing new code for the next-generation drywall finishing robot. One critical aspect of the project was creating a GenICam-compliant camera driver for GigE cameras, ensuring seamless compatibility with a wide range of camera models. Implementing a common standard solved the limitations caused by the limited availability of industrial GigE cameras in the current-generation robot platform.
During development, I prioritized ease of use and reliablity of the camera driver, allowing other developers on the team to seamlessly integrate it with the rest of the system. To ensure ease of use, I wrote documentation outlining every function and feature of the camera driver, as well as provided example code on its usage. Furthermore, I implemented error handling and logging mechanisms to ensure reliability and to facilitate debugging.

### Bring-Up Process Engineer @ Canvas

As a bring-up process engineer, I was responsible for conducting tests to validate the electrical, hardware, and software systems in newly constructed robots. A series of tests were conducted to stress test individual modules to ensure reliability on the job site.
In addition to testing, I was responsible for creating calibration tools to improve the efficiency of the bring-up process while improving the overall precision of the robot. These tools also play a crucial role in robot maintenance, which needs to be conducted to ensure proper performance.

I was the teaching assistant for ECE167: Sensing and Sensor Technologies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, for the Spring 2021 quarter. The students were given a total of five labs to complete, each involving multiple types of sensors. The labs were all done in C, and a few also included the use of MATLAB to prototype the code quickly. 
My main responsibility was to organize and lead lab sections for the students and to answer any technical questions they may have. I also graded lab reports, lab checkoffs, and exams.
