Ever since first discovering Pascal and writing simple algorithms in high school programming has been my passion. I was fortunate enough to have an informatics inclined high school specialization that got me into competitive programming and I got to win some regional level competitions. 

I resumed to write software in the university for Audio Signal Processing with MATLAB which was my major. After discovering the capabilities of modern JavaScript frameworks I started developing mobile and web apps using ReactJS and React Native and NodeJS. 

I’ve always been interested in Machine Learning and huge potential it has so since starting at Canoe I have been doing lots of research on Natural Language Processing, Image Recognition, CNN, etc.

The continuous change of the field and how it evolves is what I like the most about software engineering. It keeps you learning and there’s always something new to discover.

Built and trained NLP model for enhanced financial document data detection. Led a team of engineering interns on Computer Vision Table recognition and OCR data extraction project. Built a fully automated document portal scraper for new document retrieval. Built an isolated pre-deployment parallel testing pipeline with Docker which allowed to shrink the pipeline runtime from 40 min to 6 mim and improved continuous integration process. Built a comprehensive email alerting notification system. Built and deployed Server and Application metrics, alerting and notification service with Prometheus and Grafana. Redesigned and rewrote various UI components for better UX and responsiveness and/or performance.

Developed React Native mobile app with Express/MongoDB backend fleet tracking project based on Here Maps navigation to allow real time communication and tracking for truck drivers and dispatchers. Built support for optimized gas fill-up path based on gas prices and fuel consumption. Designed and built picture exchange functionality for client and admin applications to report road conditions, accidents and documents. Developed push-notification service for client application.
