Time was spent designing and refining the video proposition for London 2012 Olympics across web, mobile, tablet and TV, giving the user the hottest seat for the event. Key thought had to be applied when deciding on how a video service was to be rolled out on the complex BBC ecosystem, which required close collaboration with Information Architect's and Product Stakeholders. Architectural plans, user flows, user journey's, interaction documents, visual representations all had to be created in an agile method to help eliminate and fulfil the certain requirements set by the product brief. The key challenge of the project was keeping the focus on the 'USER' and how the BBC could enhance their Olympic viewing, whilst presenting all of the leading journalism the organisation had to offer. The high demand for integrating the product across the BBC Ecosystem and infrastructure gave me the opportunity to work with Multiple teams within the organisation ranging from Sport, iPlayer and the EMP team (Embedded Media Player). This was a really rewarding role as it presented me with the opportunity to immerse myself in a product that could change the way people consume 'Live events' and an insight in to one of the greatest British institutions. ### UX Designer @ Nokia Jan 2010 – Jan 2011 The role at Nokia has seen me refine my UX design skills along with experiencing communication challenges on a multinational level. With the Core team based in London, I was challenged to concept and design for an ongoing mobile framework which was eventually communicated to internal application designers along with 3rd party services. My role consisted of creating quick user journey explorations to support ongoing framework, along with adopting a unique and consistent UI which will differentiate Nokia in the smart phone market. My core responsibility to help output this work, was to lead a number of consistent documents which were used to help support core application design and development. These documents were created to help promote the product and brand, to help raise the interest of 3rd party development on the platform. ### Interaction designer @ Detica Jan 2007 – Jan 2009 With my role as interaction designer, I was given the chance to define my design skills in online marketing, e-commerce through a user centered design approach. Along the way I have picked up a number of essential skills from Information Architecture through to Project Management. My main role at Detica was spent working on three.co.uk in which time I have been a lead designer and an inhouse web project manager for 5 months. This experience then presented me with the chance to work with brands such as Orange, British Gas and Virgin. My time at Detica was a valuable experience that has seen me build my experience of working within a major organisation, giving me an insight into how to work with influential stakeholders. This along with designing for some of todays leading brands has given me a great insight into a fast moving business. ### Print/Interaction designer @ Squeeze Jan 2006 – Jan 2007 At squeeze I was given the opportunity to develop as an interactive designer, as well as refining my knowledge in setting up for press.
