We have had a number of projects together, ranging from designing their own website to creating educational and resource exchange platforms for various interest groups, such as public institutions and international NGOs. ### Senior UX Designer @ UniCredit Bank Austria AG Jan 2022 – Jan 2024 | Vienna, Austria For this project, Mastercard hired me in order to support one of their clients, Bank Austria with the design of the Consumer Finance Flows. The projects tasks included the management of all mobile and desktop flows for customers and branch employees, close alignment with the italian design team, mentoring of junior designers, setting up prototypes, quantitative and qualitative user testing, ensuring timely and precise localisation in english and german, and last but not least, collaboration with developers and the business stakeholders in order to propose design solutions for emerging needs. ### UX Designer & Researcher @ Clariness Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 | Berlin, Germany I joined Clariness during a reorganisation phase for the company. My main goal was in a nutshell to organise and build from scratch what was the UX of the existing softwares and help the company move towards a consistent UX and brand. So my tasks included: - Design System: studying their existing interfaces and the components they had in Figma and proposing a new Design System that would allow a smooth transition to a better, more consistent UX - Design Operations: understanding how design and copy tasks are spread across Clariness and identifying possible gaps - UX Research: conducting interviews with a significant number of internal stakeholders to break knowledge silos and provide relevant information about Clariness processes to IT Team - Information Visualisation: distilling the results of the internal stakeholder research in comprehensive Service Design Blueprints, including detailed process graphs. During this time, I worked on the acquisition, the management and the User Experience research and design of EU and locally funded research projects and provided consulting services for local startups and companies. My main project was eWALL, a large-scale EU research project, with a multinational consortium including Universities and companies. The goal was to make an interactive wall/ dashboard that would provide health recommendations, exercises and Smart Home services to older adults with specific physical and/or (mild) cognitive impairments. I was responsible to gather requirements from patients, doctors and caregivers and plan the iterative prototype evaluations. Throughout the design and development cycle, I aimed to communicate requirements effectively and facilitate development with concepts, interface sketches and service design. Before eWALL, my central focus was the user experience aspects of T&Tnet, an EU Research Project with the goal to develop a mobile pedestrian navigation app to fit older adults’ needs and expectations. During my time at AIT, I experienced high engagement and growth in my communication, research and strategic skills. From September 2016 to May 2017, I was on education leave, pursuing courses in Interaction Design and Android Development. ### Co Founder @ The Idea Machine Project Jan 2014 – Jan 2016 | Vienna, Austria The Idea Machine Project started as a community of small NGOs and creatives, with the goal to enable collaboration and resource exchange. Our core team is based in Vienna but our network spans countries in Europe and Russia. We supported our network with consulting (on social media, technical aspects, crowdfunding campaigns, marketing). The last year, we were placed in industrial R&D positions as Postgraduate trainees. ### Interaction Design Researcher - Prototyper @ Philips Consumer Lifestyle Jan 2011 – Jan 2011 | Eindhoven, the Netherlands and Leuven, Belgium During the second year of the Doctorate, I worked on an R&D project for Philips Consumer Lifestyle. Philips participated in a European collaborative project, called EUWB, regarding Ultra Wideband radio technology and its applications in consumer technology. My role was to integrate UWB localization algorithms with Philips Surround Sound technology and to perform listening evaluations to illustrate how the listening experience of a novice consumer can be enhanced when the system knows her location in the room. ### Research assistant in Multimedia Group in Informatics and Telematics Institute of Thessaloniki @ CERTH Jan 2009 – Jan 2009 | Thessaloniki I was part of a research team working on real-time video object segmentation and I implemented a video codec based on MPEG-2 standard that enabled faster video data processing.
