UX & Brand Designer · Building design systems and visual identities across events, digital, and product
Hello! I'm Angelina, a UX and brand designer specializing in design systems and visual identities. I love making things make sense not just for the users, but also the team behind a product.
Asian Hall of Fame is a nonprofit honoring AAPI changemakers through annual induction ceremonies, scholarship programs, and philanthropic initiatives. In this role, I lead all design work across brand, web, print, events, and social, effectively functioning as a one-person in-house creative team supporting development, communications, PR, and programming.
Microscape is the developer of Cardioscape, a WebGL-based 3D surgical preparation and training platform for cardiologists and medical students. As the sole designer, I worked with engineers to build the product's first tokenized design system in Figma and led UX design across the platform's core modules: Studio, Theatre, and Gallery.
Berkeley Recreation & Wellbeing is the UC Berkeley division overseeing campus fitness, wellness, and community events for 40,000+ students and staff. Over two years, I served as an in-house designer for the Business Development subdivision – leading visual identity work and event planning across youth programming, esports, and Caltopia, the largest lifestyle campus fair in the nation.
Riot Games at Berkeley is a student organization building community around Riot Games titles and culture at UC Berkeley. As Logistics & Design Lead, I led a full club rebrand to support organizational expansion, producing 40+ event flyers, 8+ sets of livestream assets, and merchandise while managing a team of 14 officers across 10+ events per semester.
The Introduction to Figma DeCal is a student-led course at UC Berkeley teaching design fundamentals and Figma skills to students across disciplines. I led lab sections, office hours, and stream moderation for 6 hours per week, providing goal-based design feedback, developing instructional materials, and facilitating an environment where students felt encouraged to explore their own design interests.
