Programs I built and scaled include the mentorship program and multiple employer recruiting programs for nontraditional candidates. I recruited and trained 700+ industry engineers / leaders as volunteer mentors for Hackbright, and the mentorship programs proved to be a valuable pipeline for Hackbright graduates to be recruited. To shift employer mindsets on equality in hiring, I communicated in person (storytelling meetings and presentations to leadership) and thru writing (blog posts, infographics, videos) amplified by content marketing. Content marketing was core to the business, to celebrate mentorship and encourage a culture of equality, diversity, inclusion, belonging for all. ### Director of Growth @ Hackbright Academy Jan 2013 – Jan 2014 Signed and onboarded new partners, synthesized engineering needs for employers, and built valuable hiring partnerships with employers to recruit from Hackbright's over 500 graduates (female software engineers). Established onboarding / training for first-time mentors; built hiring partnerships. ### Editor-in-Chief, Co-Founder and Board Member @ Women 2.0 Jan 2006 – Jan 2013 Launched Women 2.0 as a side project to encourage entrepreneurship for women. Partnered with media companies including Forbes and Huffington Post to syndicate Women 2.0 content. Ran the editorial calendar and social media calendar (Hootsuite), tracking and iterating on popular content formats from infographics to listicles, establishing best practices and training the team on them. Grew Women 2.0 annual conference 5x (attendees grew from 200 to 1000+) and launched Women 2.0 Startup Weekends. Designed fun and inclusive logo for co-branded collateral, organized mentors and achieved gender parity in 200+ attendees.
