# Anitharaj Natarajan > Software Engineer at Eero Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/anitharaj Specialties :- Computer Networks Data Structures & Algorithms Operating Systems ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ eero Jan 2021 – Present | United States ### Software Engineer @ Ciena Jan 2018 – Jan 2021 | San Jose, California ### Programmer at Mars & Space Flight Facility @ Arizona State University Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Phoenix, Arizona Area Provided additional file format support to the existing Davinci tool that is used by NASA scientists to manipulate and view several types of data. Also, provided autocompletion feature and helped in building Debian package. ### Teaching Assistant @ Arizona State University Jan 2016 – Jan 2016 | Phoenix, Arizona Area Served as Teaching Assistant for undergraduate course on OOPs & Data Structure. ### Software Intern @ A10 Networks, Inc Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | San Francisco Bay Area Performance Improvement of Access-Control List (ACL): Altered the processing and packet filtering mechanism of ACLs using Tree lookup thereby reducing the time complexity to log(n). This raised the scale from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of ACLs. ### Senior Software Engineer @ Juniper Networks Jan 2012 – Jan 2016 | Bangalore, India Dynamic Bandwidth Management: Worked in the development of container LSP, a feature to address “bin-packing” issues and to meet traffic engineering needs in network bandwidth allocation. Presented and demonstrated to various customers. Non-Stop Routing for Container LSPs: Developed the High-Availability feature for container LSPs where the backup Routing Engine (RE) stays in hot-standby mode and mirrors the potential data from master. During failure of master RE, backup RE takes ownership to route the traffic and this transition to backup RE is lossless. Static Route & IGP-Forwarding Adjacencies for Container LSPs: Enhanced LSPs with explicitly linking set of static routes to the dynamic tunnels. Also, these LSPs were made visible to IGP databases and hence used as a link in SPF algorithm to forward traffic. AutoBandwidth Feature for MPLS P2P LSPs: Worked on AutoBandwidth feature that allows automatic adjustment of network bandwidth allocation based on traffic on the tunnel. Supported extensively with add-ons for this feature. Extensive Work: Prototyped the LSP ping idea for zero packet loss during path switch; Developed meter table for Open-flow protocol; Developed Code Coverage tool & received a company-level “Team-Excellence Award”; Written stub code in ATF to cover various combination of inputs; Worked in MPLS infrastructure, CSPF path computation and extensively supported in handling customer issues. ### Software Intern @ Juniper Networks Jan 2011 – Jan 2012 | bangalore Routing Service Team: Made Automated Test Framework compatible to junOS and developed stub code for unit testing. ## Education ### Master’s Degree in Computer Science Arizona State University ### Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science PSG College of Technology ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/anitharajn --- Source: https://flows.cv/anitharaj JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/anitharaj/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-11
