I am a passionate and detail-oriented Data Science graduate from the University of Arizona. As a Data Engineer & Data Scientist Intern at Servify, I built an Audit Log System to enhance security and compliance, created an SFTP Client Tool for seamless file transfers, and implemented Role-Based Access Control for governed data access. Working with NodeJS, ReactJS, MySQL, and MongoDB strengthened my abilities in API development, data modeling, and cloud-based solutions.

As a Data Scientist Intern at SmartKnower, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to analyze large datasets, extract insights, and build predictive models that improved operational efficiency. I gained experience in EDA, ML modeling, and presenting data-driven recommendations.

I have also worked on several impactful projects, including:

✅ Databricks Invoice Analytics System – Built an end-to-end pipeline using the Medallion Architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold) to parse unstructured invoice text, classify items using NLP rules, and create a full analytics dashboard that visualizes revenue, VAT, category trends, and geographic insights.

✅ Life Expectancy Prediction Model – Applied ML techniques to analyze factors influencing global life expectancy.

✅ AI-powered Checkers Game – Developed using Monte Carlo simulations for stronger decision-making.

✅ Tourism & Cricket Analytics Dashboards – Interactive dashboards built in Power BI and R using multi-source data and real-time APIs.

At Servify, I contributed to three key projects focused on security, file management, and access control:

🔹 Audit Log System – Designed and implemented a secure audit logging system using MongoDB, ReactJS, and Node.js to track user activities, system access, and security events. Ensured fast asynchronous logging (p95 < 50ms) and implemented features like encryption, immutability, and role-based access for compliance and risk management. Ensured efficient retrieval of access records with 95% performance efficiency, supporting data integrity. 

🔹 SFTP Client Tool – Developed a user-friendly file management system to securely transfer and manage files on remote SFTP servers. Implemented Google SAML-based Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), API-based file operations (upload, download, move, delete), and usage/transaction reports for monitoring system efficiency.

🔹 Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) System – Built an RBAC module with a front-end admin panel and API integrations to control access permissions for products, resources, and users. Designed a hierarchical User Access Tree to streamline permission management and integrated RBAC with the SFTP UI to enforce user-specific access rules.

This experience enhanced my expertise in API development, database optimization, system security, and cloud-based architectures, bridging the gap between data science and engineering to create scalable, secure solutions.

At SmartKnower, I worked on classification modeling and predictive analytics, applying machine learning techniques to analyze structured datasets and extract meaningful insights.

🔹 Data Preprocessing & Feature Engineering – Cleaned and prepared a large dataset, handling missing values, encoding categorical data, and selecting relevant features to optimize model performance.

🔹 Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) – Conducted statistical analysis and visualized key trends using Seaborn, Matplotlib, and correlation heatmaps to identify patterns in the dataset.

🔹 Machine Learning Model Development – Implemented and evaluated multiple classification algorithms, including Decision Trees, Random Forest, Logistic Regression, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and Support Vector Machine (SVM) to predict income levels based on various demographic and occupational factors.

🔹 Model Evaluation & Performance Metrics – Assessed model effectiveness using confusion matrices, precision-recall scores, F1-scores, accuracy scores, and misclassification rates. The Decision Tree Classifier achieved the highest accuracy (85.5%) compared to other models.

🔹 Hyperparameter Tuning & Validation – Optimized models by fine-tuning hyperparameters and validating performance through train-test splits and cross-validation to ensure generalization.

This experience strengthened my skills in data preprocessing, feature engineering, supervised learning, and model evaluation, while enhancing my ability to translate data into actionable insights and predictive solutions.
