• Working as Systems Engineer & Software Developer in Northstar WAN SDN Controller Engineering Team.
• Working with potential customers, demonstrate SDN controller features, collect customer’s requirements and defines the scope of functional specification to add new features in Northstar Controller.
• Prepare LAB running ISIS/OSPF, BGP, MPLS, RSVP-TE, P2MP-TE & SPRING and provide POCs to customers based on their requirements and use cases. Also, engage in troubleshooting sessions with customers in their production or test setup.
• Working to develop new features in Northstar controller. Prepare test plan and automate the test cases using Python, Shell & Robot Framework for testing newly added features.
• Took an initiative to automate the process of creating on-demand & flexible infrastructure for scale testing by launching vMX routers, Linux machines, traffic generators, Northstar SDN Controller in OpenStack environment using HEAT templates. Currently managing 250 virtual router topology for scale testing of Northstar features.
• Contributed to various software development projects such as Ingress/Egress Peer Engineering, adding Netflow v9/10 analysis support in Northstar Controller, REST API development for various analytics features.
• Represented Juniper for demonstrating Northstar features in MPLS-SDN World Congress 2018 in Paris.
• Actively participate in mentoring programs for summer interns and provide TOI sessions to internal and external professionals.
