I’m a Senior Designer at Google, where I design products and experiences that address people’s needs using the latest advancements in AI. I’m driven to design solutions that contribute to a better future for everyone. Currently, I’m focusing on the future of learning and education. Before that, for around six years, I worked on creating AI-powered solutions for health — designing and launching new human-centered products, defining design strategies, and leading service design. Prior to Google, I led product design for a variety of startups. I incorporate visual thinking into my design process and bring a strong foundation in human-centered approach, prototyping and high-quality design. I strive to foster a collaborative, positive team environment and shape a strong design culture. I enjoy working on the early stages of products and am passionate about solving complex problems, launching experiences that address them, and continuously experimenting, refining, and improving design solutions through a deep understanding of users. I’ve published essays on design in Fast Company and UX Collective, co-authored O'Reilly's “97 Things Every UX Practitioner Should Know”, spoke at many design events, and co-authored two peer-reviewed HCI-focused papers. I love observing the world around me and capturing it in my sketchbook, going to museums, and spending time at the beach building tunnels with my toddler. I like to write to clarify my thoughts (occasionally sharing them at anatinge.medium.com), enjoy explaining ideas with simple visuals, and sometimes illustrate books.
