# Anna Iurchenko > Senior Designer at Google (AI for Education). Visual Thinker. Ukrainian 🇺🇦 Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/anna I’m a Senior Designer at Google, where I design products and experiences that address people’s needs using the latest advancements in AI. I’m driven to design solutions that contribute to a better future for everyone. Currently, I’m focusing on the future of learning and education. Before that, for around six years, I worked on creating AI-powered solutions for health — designing and launching new human-centered products, defining design strategies, and leading service design. Prior to Google, I led product design for a variety of startups. I incorporate visual thinking into my design process and bring a strong foundation in human-centered approach, prototyping and high-quality design. I strive to foster a collaborative, positive team environment and shape a strong design culture. I enjoy working on the early stages of products and am passionate about solving complex problems, launching experiences that address them, and continuously experimenting, refining, and improving design solutions through a deep understanding of users. I’ve published essays on design in Fast Company and UX Collective, co-authored O'Reilly's “97 Things Every UX Practitioner Should Know”, spoke at many design events, and co-authored two peer-reviewed HCI-focused papers. I love observing the world around me and capturing it in my sketchbook, going to museums, and spending time at the beach building tunnels with my toddler. I like to write to clarify my thoughts (occasionally sharing them at anatinge.medium.com), enjoy explaining ideas with simple visuals, and sometimes illustrate books. ## Work Experience ### Senior Product Designer, AI for Education @ Google Jan 2025 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area Learning and education in the AI era. ### Senior Product Designer, Health AI @ Google Jan 2018 – Jan 2025 | Mountain View, California At Google’s Health AI team, I designed products and services that leveraged AI to make high-quality care more accessible to everyone. I worked on experimental, early-stage projects focused on identifying new opportunities for Gen AI to meet people’s information needs and created product concepts that reimagined how people make sense of complex topics. I led UX design for an AI-powered application that helps people understand and make decisions about their skin conditions. This tool was integrated into Google Lens and now helps people around the world every day. I also designed AI-enabled applications to support doctors in detecting eye diseases—tools that are now on track to improve the accuracy and efficiency of eye screening for millions in Thailand. Throughout my time at Google Health, I focused on making AI technologies more approachable and understandable. I was especially excited about designing new products that tackled hard health problems at scale and exploring how to bring cutting-edge AI technology into people’s hands in a way that empowers them to make better health choices. ### Senior Product Designer | UX Researcher @ Transplant Hero Jan 2015 – Jan 2018 | San Francisco Bay Area Transplant Hero is a monitoring system that promotes medication adherence.
