# Annabelle Hartwich > Senior Design Engineer Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/annabellehartwich Hi, I’m Annabelle a Product Designer passionate about building scalable design systems and crafting intuitive, accessible experiences that balance technical requirements with user needs. Recently, I’ve had the chance to: • Redesign a tele-health platform at Rainfall Health, improving task completion by 40% and speeding up feature development by 60% through a design system of 50+ components • Increase healthcare compliance adoption by 75% by designing automated document upload and reimbursement calculation interfaces • Build a mobile device management platform at Tiny Home Consulting, achieving 90% adoption among non-technical users through clear, accessible design • Develop multiple design systems that accelerated product development by 25–60% and streamlined cross-functional collaboration But design wasn’t always my first path. My background started in photography, where I ran my own business capturing portraits and professional headshots. That experience taught me the value of guiding a project end to end, from vision to delivery — a process that now shapes how I approach design with a systems and user-first mindset. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me training for my next marathon or planning country number 23 on my travel list. Let’s connect if you’re building complex platforms that need scalable, human-centered design systems, or if you just want to chat about design, travel, or running. ## Work Experience ### Senior Design Engineer @ Rainfall Health Jan 2026 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area • Lead the design of data-driven experiences that help healthcare teams track patient care, operational performance, and financial outcomes. • Collaborate across product, engineering, and clinical teams to bring high-impact tools from concept to launch. • Prioritize user needs and insights to drive meaningful improvements in care coordination and operational efficiency ### UX/UI Engineer @ Rainfall Health Jan 2024 – Jan 2026 | San Francisco, California, United States As a UX/UI Engineer at Rainfall Health, I lead the design of digital tools that help hospitals comply with CMS’s TEAM Model and transition successfully to value-based care.
