As the sole designer on the team, Iāve owned the design of over 30 features.
HIGHLIGHTS:
ā”ļø Designed a self-serve onboarding flow from 0 to 1, decreasing signup time from 1-2 days to 15 seconds, by running user interviews, competitor analysis, usability testing, and ensuring close collaboration with engineering and product partners that enabled us to ship in just 2 weeks
ā”ļøĀ Collaborated on the design of an AI-powered website review for e-commerce owners, used as a new onboarding funnel, increasing signup conversion by 94.80% in the first week, using a combination of competitor analysis, user centric discovery work, and close collaboration with our AI engineers
ā”ļøĀ Redesigned the lesson experience for both our customers and their end-users (admin and member), displayed to over 100K users across web and mobile, by analyzing session recordings, running competitor analysis, and running alignment sessions with engineering to ensure the best technical approach
ā”ļøĀ Implemented a new design process, including closer collaboration with the engineering team and design QA run by me, to ensure over 116 smooth weekly releases. Designed a new QA and testing checklist for our AI features.
ā”ļøĀ Coordinated efforts to improve user research (running 100+ user interviews) and product analytics (using Amplitude and Plausible) to help with prioritization, road mapping, and feature development

Worked with clients ranging from start-ups to international businesses to map out user needs, wireframe flows, and launch new websites and digital products.
HIGHLIGHTS:
ā”ļøĀ Designed and launched a new website for an international capital advisory firm, resulting in 17 new pages and a blog, by uncovering the pain points of their previous web experience, pinpointing the goals and desired UX of the new site, and reviewing wire frames and mockups to ensure team-wide alignment and commitment to the new design
ā”ļøĀ Designed a incident report system from 0 to 1 for a US school district, including a design system with 45+ responsive components, by working closely with teachers, school admin, and a contract engineering team to map out user needs and pain points, and align on a product to move forward with as a solution
Sayulita, Mexico
Lunazul is a surf school based in Sayulita, Mexico. I was responsible for their branding, marketing and user experience.
HIGHLIGHTS:
ā”ļøĀ Revitalized the brandās digital presence by producing a how-to video series, gaining up to 100K views. Utilized Adobe Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects for initial branding, storyboarding, filming, video editing and motion graphics. Ensured consistent marketing across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)

Smart Design is a strategic design agency with Fortune 500 clients. I worked in multidisciplinary teams on projects ranging from packaging to digital experiences.
HIGHLIGHTS:
ā”ļøĀ Functioned as Visual Designer II for a mobile app design for a large national US brand, collaborating closely with another visual designer, a UX designer, and a strategist. Prepared digital and physical prototypes and helped analyze over 30+ hours of user interviews, used to validate design concepts and uncover user pain points and goals. Designed the UI for various screens on the final onboarding flow into the mobile app, which was handed off to the customer for development.
ā”ļøĀ Ran a 2-month research project on grocery store accessibility with a team of 2 industrial designers. By collaborating closely with members of the TheĀ AndrewĀ Heiskell Braille and Talking Book Library, we explored the potential of smart stores creating an improved experience for people who are blind or low vision.
