👋🏽 Hi, kamusta ka? I'm Anne, a Filipina-American UX Researcher & Designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

⭐️ I’m currently pursuing my M.S. in Human Factors in Information Design (HFID) at Bentley University, where I focus on the intersection of human factors, usability, and design. This past summer, I completed a UX Human Factors internship at ZEISS Medical Technology, working on usability validation, UI specification documentation, and service blueprinting to support medical device development.

💡 Guided by curiosity and empathy, I approach every project with the goal of deeply understanding users and designing experiences that are both intuitive and impactful.

🚌 My journey spans healthcare, tech, and beyond, where I’ve co-led and collaborated on projects that improved user engagement and application performance. With a background in psychology, healthcare, clinical research, and education, I bring a multidisciplinary lens to crafting designs that resonate with people.

– Helped lead a moderated usability test of the Spellable app, designed to support adults with spelling challenges, as part of a graduate UX research collaboration with Spellable
– Tested the first-time user experience (FTUX) with 5 Android users using a think-aloud protocol and remote testing via UserTesting (UserZoom)
– Helped facilitate sessions, created and structured the rainbow spreadsheet for consistent qualitative coding, and contributed to analyzing the large volume of behavioral data
– Our insights revealed key usability barriers and informed design recommendations to improve lesson engagement and user retention

➤ Ariadne Labs (Global Health Center, Sep - Dec 2024):
– Co-led a qualitative study investigating the experiences of patients managing cardiovascular disease (CVD) as part of a graduate UX research collaboration with Ariadne Labs
– Helped design the interview guide, recruited participants via UserTesting, and conducted remote one-on-one interviews
– Used thematic analysis to surface communication gaps and emotional pain points
– Translated our findings into personas and journey maps to support patient-centered design recommendations, which we presented to an Ariadne Labs stakeholder
