Aside from the logistics of running the course, I also teach 2 2-hour labs that teach students with no background experience Python and data science.

As a SWE Intern at NerdWallet, I revamped and improved the Home application flow for the Loans team. Using a shared state machine library and shared React components, I built out an experience from scratch to ask for user data so that users could compare offers and see personalized quotes for mortgages when purchasing a home or refinancing a mortgage. My project was the first step of an initiative to move towards a more consistent look and feel when asking users for data. Therefore, I learned a lot about persisting code and creating a foundation to drive greater efficiencies, iterate, and scale.
