# Anthony G. > Active Listener / Eternal Optimist / Lead Product Designer at Meta Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/anthonyg In my career, I have helped several companies by crafting product features, brands, visual design guidelines and systems, increase revenue, and build teams. At Branch.co I lead the product and brand design that made mobile banking accessible in fast-growing countries like Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, and India. At Saint Haven my priorities were to build a brand that speaks authentically to its audience from the ground up as well as establish and maintain UI + UX components and patterns. At UJET, I led the Visual Design team by creating UI for all of the UJET products, established several design processes, and strategized scalability of the teams design system. In addition, I designed a wide variety of features for multiple permission sets and reimagined the core UJET product. Prior to this I made Tilt.com a "frat-house-hold name" by crafting an authentic brand that spoke to its core audience. On the growth team, I was fortunate enough to collaborate with an amazing copywriter, a social media director / photographer, an SEO wizard, brilliant Product Managers, and many others to establish a brand that is consistent across multiple touch-points. On any given day, I offered art direction, kept visuals on-concept and on-brand while designing for web, mobile, print, editorial, social media, and outdoor. At Eventbrite, I coded in HTML and CSS to create custom event pages for some of the biggest events ever ticketed. In addition, I also managed an in-house Communication Design team that focused on creating branding for concerts, SXSW, conferences, plus many other metropolitan experiential marketing opportunities. ## Work Experience ### Lead Product Designer @ Meta Jan 2022 – Present | United States • Launched multiple 0→1 products and features, improving advertiser efficiency and campaign performance • Defined and implemented governance features and processes in partnership with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance and trust at scale • Translated user research into roadmap priorities, building close relationships with advertisers to uncover pain points and influence platform direction ### Lead Designer Product + Brand @ Branch International Jan 2019 – Jan 2022 | San Francisco Bay Area • Designed and scaled the core UI for Branch’s mobile banking platform, adapting components across multiple international markets and regulatory environments • Created and maintained a unified design system and digital guidelines, ensuring consistency across product, marketing, and engineering touchpoints • Led design research and rapid prototyping to simplify onboarding flows, improving usability and driving measurable increases in customer activation and retention ### Design Consultant @ Saint Haven Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco Bay Area • Defined and maintained a comprehensive multi-platform design system for Saint Haven's web and mobile sites. • Developed user-centric creative direction for digital campaigns, enhancing customer engagement strategies. • Led cross-functional teams and external vendors, optimizing workflows to deliver high-quality outputs efficiently. ### Sr. Visual Designer @ ujet.cx Jan 2016 – Jan 2018 | San Francisco Bay Area • Designed and delivered UI assets for UJET’s enterprise product suite, enhancing user experience across complex workflows. • Introduced design documentation processes, fostering collaboration between product and engineering teams, and reducing handoff friction. • Scaled visual systems to accommodate rapid feature growth while ensuring consistency across multiple platforms. ### Lead Brand Designer @ Tilt.com Jan 2014 – Jan 2016 | San Francisco Bay Area • Led the development and evolution of design systems for Tilt’s marketing and product surfaces, enhancing brand consistency. • Collaborated with growth teams to test creative strategies, significantly impacting user acquisition and retention. • Designed scalable assets to support rapid expansion and integration ahead of acquisition, facilitating seamless transitions. ### Senior Graphic Designer / Marketing Design Manager @ Eventbrite Jan 2010 – Jan 2014 • Led and scaled the marketing design function, managing cross-functional projects that bridged live events, product, marketing, and engineering • Designed and prototyped event page experiences using HTML/CSS, creating reusable templates and vertical-specific landing pages adopted company-wide and utilized to grow ticket sales for event organizers • Collaborated on product ideation and feature development, embedding design into early product strategy sessions ### Freelance Senior Designer @ argstudios.com Jan 2007 – Jan 2010 | San Francisco Bay Area Digital design spanning branding, marketing communications, iconography, web design, info graphic illustration, presentation design and visual design. ### Advertising Designer @ iMeem Jan 2009 – Jan 2009 | San Francisco Bay ### Advertising Designer @ San Francisco Business Times Jan 2002 – Jan 2007 ### Art Director @ Streaming Magazine Jan 2000 – Jan 2001 ### Graphic designer @ Streamline Publishing Jan 1998 – Jan 2001 ### Assistant Art Director @ Practical Graphics Inc Jan 1999 – Jan 2000 Creating logos, advertisements, posters, newsletters, and invitations for various clients. ### Assistant Art Director @ Radio Ink Magazine Jan 1998 – Jan 1998 Assisted in the design layout process of the publication Radio Ink by creating advertisements, direct marketing materials, posters and fliers. ### Print Production Manager @ Docucenter Jan 1997 – Jan 1998 ## Education ### Associate’s Degree in Commercial and Advertising Art International Fine Arts College Jan 1995 – Jan 1997 ### Certificate in Macromedia Flash and Director San Francisco State University Jan 2001 – Jan 2001 ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/anthonygrant - Portfolio: http://www.argstudios.com --- Source: https://flows.cv/anthonyg JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/anthonyg/resume.json Last updated: 2026-03-30
