Designed and developed a federated authentication and identity management system for the Department of Energy. The system is developed in Java and is tiered (web, app, database) and SOA based (via Jersey RESTful web services). Authentication is federated using the SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect specifications leveraging PingFederate and MySQL database cluster.
