• Responsible for programming surface mount jobs for Fuji Aimex III and Fuji XPF SMT machines.

• Generate BOMs, clean and sort CAD data and implement and refine data to create programs on SMT machines.

• Order stencils and verify matching schematics between CAD data and the stencils created.

• Proficient in Fuji Flexa and Nexim software (proprietary programming software for Fuji equipment/machines).

• Coordinate and work in tandem with Engineering department to ensure data is refined and ideal for programming.

• Aid in Continuous Improvement efforts to streamline manufacturing processes and reduce waste. Also assist in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Use and maintain SMT equipment to run and improve processes and procedures to streamline results.

• ISO 9001:15 and AS 9100:16 certified

• Work with SMT machines, circuit boards and soldering equipment to produce high quality electronic assemblies and circuit boards.

• Duties include programming, troubleshooting, maintaining SMT equipment and loading and unloading feeders and carriages.

• Assist in assembly and programming of SMT equipment.

Plan, coordinate, direct and supervise the activities of chemical operators to produce a finished product according to production schedule and quality requirements to maintain compliance.

• Ensure compliance of all current Quality and Safety systems with all their direct reports.

• Produce finished goods in alignment with cGMP and ICH Q9 standards.

• Train and manage employees to achieve highest production standards.

o Monitor production methods, equipment performance and product quality.

o Submit recommendations and improvements through efficiency and cost measure to management.

• Maintain operational/batch data. Read and analyze charts, work orders and production schedules to determine production requirements.

• Train new and current employees as needed on equipment operations and work procedures.

• Communicate specifications, job orders and company policies/procedures for production team.

• Initiate discrepancies as they occur and provide input on root cause and preventative actions.

• Consult with Manufacturing Department Managers to coordinate operations and activities within departments; confers with management and/or subordinates to resolve worker problems and complaints.

• Requisition supplies needed for production.

• Inspect documentation and finished good packaging routinely during shift to ensure compliance.

• Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure operations conforms to production/processing standards.

• Batch record review/reconciliation and complete work orders.

• Lead and coordinate Manufacturing and Packaging teams in the Solvents chemicals division with compliance to cGMP standards and a Safety First mindset.

• Union workforce management.

• Manage personnel scheduling and shift rotations; assist payroll for all wage employees using Kronos.

• Track KPI’s and implement Continuous Improvement opportunities to better meet delivery efficiently, addressing problem areas when needed and following through on solutions with corrective action.

• Directly assist in planning and scheduling production to meet customer demands and needs.

• Author and issue hot work permits for the Solvents division.

• Work in tandem with Maintenance Dept. to troubleshoot and fix process equipment and problem solve.

• Oversee and manage the logistics of raw material delivery, working with vendors to meet needs and ensure all materials and items follow through to aid in the production schedule on a weekly basis.

Responsible for producing quality chemical intermediates and finished products according to a pre-determined spray dry operations plan, following cGMP standards and SOPs.

• Responsible for leading production team to achieve organizational goals, deliveries and demands.

• Analyze and validate standards of work for production processes (Continuous Improvement)

• Conduct shift meetings, addressing problems and assisting in finding solutions, being an active participant in tracking Key Performance Indicators for the Department, and highlighting the daily execution plan.

• Involvement in Implementation Task Force efforts and Continuous Improvement opportunities – utilizing 5S standards and A3/Six Sigma/Lean principles in problem solving and adaptation.

• Issue work permits for contractual and in-house maintenance and projects.
